Andrew Bannecker for NPR Books

I subscribe to way too many email newsletters. I really need to sort through and unsubscribe to the dozens I literally have never opened. But on that I, of course, will never leave is NPR Books. (That and J. Crew Factory but that's another addiction issue for another day).

I just had to share these wonderful illustrations by Andrew Bannecker, one of my favorite artists, that were in the newsletter this morning.

The first is for a list of the Best Books of Summer, and the second for five romantic summer reads.

Just adorable.

Andrew also created these lovely pieces for Matilda, the Musical, which I would love to frame.
