Charlotte Perriand Bookshelf

One of my favorite new series in the blogosphere is happening on Design*Sponge. They've been profiling pieces that have changed the world of aesthetics in a Design Icon series.

Of course I was delighted when the Charlotte Perriand bookshelf was highlighted.

I definitely recommend reading their profile on the bookshelf over on Design*Sponge. After reading the post I jumped over the Pinterest and found these lovely examples of the shelf.

I've been obsessing over rentals in the Seattle area (it's basically a hobby) and noticed so many built-in shelves of this style. Love it.
